The Problem

The Problem:

We live in a fast changing world. As parents, we struggle to provide our children with the right skills for societal and academic success.
Language is the basic skill any child needs in order to succeed.

As parents, we ask ourselves:
What are my child's strengths and weaknesses
How can I, a concerned parent, find the way to help my child?
The internet is full of knowledge, but what is relevant for us?
Who can I turn to for help?
I found the best expert, there is a long waiting list. Now what?
This is where MuLTI comes in.

Speech and language therapy: Intensive clinical experience treating children of diverse backgrounds, empowering parents in co-leading the treatment
All children should have an equal opportunity for early assessment and support in any language. We have been working with parents, educators, and Speech and Language therapists to provide accurate assessment and support.

Over 20 years of research in our lab and within a European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) network led by Prof. Armon-Lotem yielded the knowledge behind Multi. Our research differentiates between typical and atypical language development and identified highly accurate markers of Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) in multiple languages. These markers have over 90% accuracy among bilingual children and among children from diverse social backgrounds.

Data from hundreds of children enabled the development of an optimal set of tools that may be adapted crosslinguistically and have already been tested with multiple languages in Israel.  Our data enables the use of machine learning in the assessment of typical language development and screening of DLD.

We have the passion and the knowledge to lead a social change in the way children’s language skills are assessed, empowering parents to guide their children to success
